The diciple had pacularity of diet. He was tempted by the cheap food. So he decided to stay in that kingdom. It was not a good idea to stay there for a long time as the un predictable behavior of the fools could creat danger any time.

He was inherited by the king's man because he fitted the stake. Because of his guru's words of wisdom he was saved.

Answer: The disciple is greedy in nature because he gets attracted to cheap food in the kingdom. He is arrogant as he ignores his guru's advice of danger in the kingdom. He is also fearful in nature as he gets scared at the thought of being executed by the foolish king but he knows that his guru will save him. He is also foolish because he gets easily trapped by the very cheap tricks of foolish people.
