Nicola and jacopo had experienced immense suffering during times . they were motherless and had lost their father in the war .bomb blast have destroyed the house of two boys but their spirit was not broken .they were a resource full duo(couple )and had made their own shelter .they were working hard and we're willing to do any job to pay for their sisters day on the hospital .they spended to their sister and did not spend money on themselves . they were dignified and continuous and also patriotic as they had joined r the registent Movement against German . though they werechildren they acted proud and did not want sympathy from anyone for their plight situation.
