The Happy Prince was a statue. He was very Beautiful. His body was covered with golden leaves. His eyes were made up of sapphires. He stood very high on a platform From where he could see the whole kingdom. He was having a sword which was having a ruby .

One day a swallow came there. And with the help of swallow he helped the poor people of his kingdom. It shows that he was very kind. As he was no more beautiful so the mayor of that kingdom asked the workers to remove that statute. The swallow died because of cold and the heart of Prince was also broken. They were praised by the God .

The Happy Prince was a statue of a prince who remained happy when he was alive. He doesn't have felt sorrow in his life. He was decorated with golden leaves and he had 2 sapphires which were his eyes. He also had a ruby in his sword. When he saw the miseries and the sorrow of his city after his death, he became very sad. He wanted to help the needy. He had pity in his leaden heart. A swallow became his messenger and did what prince said to him. His leaden heart and the dead swallow were classified as the two precious things by the God.
