Ruskin Bond wrote a book titled Conceited Python in which he attempts to convey the story of his grandpa wanting to create a personal zoo and the creatures he had hoped to keep, such as monkeys and other snakes.

Character sketch of grandfather:

• Grandfather was a mentally caring individual. He was an animal and nature lover. Grandpa was occasionally asked to assist hunters since he had a strong understanding of animals.
• Grandpa was knowledgeable about the forest and nice to animals. They never attempted to injure or kill any animals or birds.
• Grandpa adored the outdoors and wildlife. But he was unable to permanently reside in the wilderness.
• He had a little private zoo in his home for this purpose. where he and his wife resided. In contrast to grandfather's personality, grandma never cared about animals or visited her husband's private zoo.
• Grandfather, however, did not take their advice and was always looking for animals. They also imported a large number of animals, who were rebellious and harmed their home items.
• But Grandfather persevered through it all, and whenever a circumstance like this arose, he would secretly return the pet to its former owner.
