Answer: The novel The Three Men In Boat is written by the novelist Jerome K. Jerome. She was rather a very strange and strict personality. She had always denied the cheese Jerome (as known as J.) brought for them.
She would ask Tom to not to bring them at home. Because she didn't like the cheese and strangely she would protest against the cheese.
