Answer:

Tricki most certainly wasn't a dog. He actually resembled a spoiled Pumphrey youngster. Tricki was a little canine. Tricki's gluttony was his only shortcoming. Tricki Hugley gained weight from overeating and an excess of sweets, cakes, and chocolates. He started to feel rheumy and lazy. He dangled his tongue from his mouth.

Mrs. Pumphrey was urged by the doctor to maintain Tricki on a very restricted diet and to exercise him frequently. Tricki suffered from overeating and overindulgence. Instructions from Dr. Herriot were disregarded. Tricki lost her appetite and began throwing up. Mrs. Pumphrey was advised by Dr. Herriot to have Tricki hospitalised for a fortnight while under his watch. She was so devoted to Tricki that even the mere idea of him made her feel close to passing out.
