Hi friend,

The story 'How I taught my grandmother to read' teaches us many valuable things. The story teaches us that if one has confidence in oneself, if one is determined, then their is no obstacle that can stop them to move on to the stairs of success.

Grandmother was an illiterate women, though she liked the only source of entertainment, Triveni novels.

Triveni was a popular writer of Kannada literature. She wrote many novels which was liked by everyone, as that was the only source of entertainment at that time, and the stories written by Triveni stories usually death with common physiological problems of common people and the writing style of Triveni was simple and interesting to read.

Her novels were famous after she died and the people enjoyed reading her novels till ages.

The novel 'Kashi Yatra' of Triveni was liked by Krish Takka as she used to compare herself with the protagonist of Kashi Yatra, as the protagonist of Kashi Yatra was having a great desire to go to Kashi, and so with Krish Takka.

Triveni was a great Kannada writer.

Hope it helps.....!!!!
