Character Sketch on your father

Explanation:
My fondest memory of my dad is when he would toss us into the pool even though I had troubles holding myself above the water. He always reminded us that it would pay off in the end, and I did learn faster than most children about swimming and treading water. My mother thought it was dangerous at times, however he reassured her that the pool was safe and that we had to do it on our own. I loved spending time with him, although it often seemed he had little for me. When I was young, I was convinced that he was perfect. He was funny, he was nice, he taught me cool new things, even other people would tell me how great he was. He knew everyone, and always remembered their names. I remember my mother complaining that she could never send my father to do anything - not even grocery shop for the simplest of items.
“If I send him out for a stick of butter, he’d be back in two hours with a loaf of bread!”
