The Emperor of
Blefuscu was a very smart, practical and diplomatic statesman. After the defeat
of his navy in the war against the kingdom of Lilliput and Gulliver's role, the
Emperor of Bleffuscu sent his ambassadors to Lilliput with peace treaty. After
the treaty, these ambassadors visited Gulliver in person and invited him to
visit Blefuscu and show a few feats of his prodigious might and valour.
Gulliver readily accepted the invitation along with a written license to visit
Blefuscu. This written license proved quite helpful while he sneaked away from
Lilliput to save himself from the punishment.
The Emperor of Blefuscu was very hospitable and courteous to Gulliver, and provided all help to Gulliver to prepare a vessel for his voyage to his home-country. He refused to expatriate Gulliver to Lilliput when an envoy came with an appeal. At the time of Gulliver's departure, he provided him with enough money and and other provisions; he also allowed Gulliver to take a few specimens of the animals he wished. The Emperor did all these favours to Gulliver for the safety, security and welfare of his Kingdom. He knew if Gulliver was on their side, they had no danger of any kind.
