Mr. Robinson
Mr. Robinson, an intelligent, resourceful Swiss who, with his family, is shipwrecked on an island near New Guinea. He represents many middle-class virtues and beliefs, including a strong religious sentiment. Because of his good sense, practical knowledge, and understanding of human nature, he and his family succeed in establishing themselves on the island with European-type civilization. When a ship calls at the island, Mr. Robinson decides to remain, hoping that commerce will come and that his little colony will grow and prosper.
Mrs. Robinson
Mrs. Robinson, an intelligent, brave, and hardworking woman who is in her way as resourceful as her husband. She improvises a great deal in making her family comfortable and happy. Her tasks are housekeeping and care of the crops and animals. Like her husband, she chooses to remain on the island.
Fritz Robinson
Fritz Robinson, the oldest of the Robinson boys. He grows up on the island to become a gentlemanly, courageous young man. He learns how to accept responsibility and to carry out difficult tasks requiring initiative and courage. Unlike his father, he wants to return to Europe and does so when the opportunity comes.
Emily Montrose
Emily Montrose, a young English girl shipwrecked on the island. She is rescued by Fritz, who brings her to his family’s settlement. Emily is the daughter of an English army officer and is on her way home from India. She and Fritz fall in love and plan to marry upon their return to Europe.
Ernest Robinson
Ernest Robinson, the second of the Robinson boys. He has a great interest in natural history, and his previous studies help the family very much, for he is able to identify plants and animals for various purposes.

He wears an orange shirt with brown pants.Fritz is a good swimmer. He is active and intelligent. He found guns and bullets from the ship. He accompanies his father in exploring the island. He helps his father in bringing animals from the ship to the island. Fritz is very helpful and he is always ready for adventures. Fritz knows how to use weapons. He is always ready to complete the tasks as he brings a medicine box from the tent house. Fritz is like a right arm for his father. Fritz helps his father in digging the cave. Fritz has a positive mind and he is a quick learner. In my opinion, Fritz is the most daring, passionate, and courteous member of the Swiss Robinson Family. He loves and cares for his family and he has a good character.
He is a good hunter that why his parents send him for hunting the animals. He is very kind-hearted and caring as he helps the little monkey when he loses his mother.

In the novel Swiss Family Robinson, Earnest is the son of Pastor and Elizabeth. His number is 2nd among his four brothers. He is 12 years old.
Earnest has a fair complexion. He has black and brown hair. His eye color is brown. He is a tall boy. He is slim and smart. Earnest has a clear and fluent British accent. His family belongs from Switzerland. Most of the time, he is wearing a turquoise shirt with a dark green waistcoat on top. He is wearing brown pants and brown shoes. He has a lively personality. Earnest is interested in plants and animals. He is a nature lover. He doesn't like lobsters and oysters.
He thinks positively. He is very tender because he carries his mother to her bed when she falls from Falcon's nest stairs. He is a caring and helpful member of the family. He is a quick-witted, creatives, innovative, and intelligent boy because he advocates using oyster shells as spoons. When the family newly arrives on the island, Earnest helps to find nails, axes, and hammers. He suggested building a raft. Earnest is the one who gives the idea to bring the medical box from the tent house. Earnest is the most clever brother among all his brothers as many logical ideas come from him.
Earnest is a sensible and responsible family member of the Swiss Robinson Family.
In my opinion, Earnest's character is extraordinary because he always gives nifty suggestions and he takes care of his family.
