Jeanne, as per the play 'A Villa for Sale' appears to be a homely, sociable person and an understanding wife. She wants to buy the villa thinking that she could invite her parents and her sister's children there from April to September. Though her husband, i.e. Gaston doesn't want to spend money on the villa, she insists that they see the villa. After she comes back downstairs, having shown around, she was pretty sure that Gaston Obviously she is unaware of the plan of her husband to make a profit of hundred thousand francs on the villa. So, we conclude she is a simple person who trusts her husband.
