Mrs Packletide was a woman whose aim was to outshine Loona Bimberton. She wanted to shoot a tiger not because she was passionate about that but because she wanted to make Loona feel jealous. She was  a wealthy but a kind of stupid lady who wasted the sum of rupees 1000 for the cheap publicity. Overall she was a vain.
