spirogyra- green algae contain chlorophyll n perform photosynthesis. thread like algae.

agaricus- its a saprophytic organism. obtain it's food from dead n decaying matter. it's a single cell protein.

Agaricus: saprophytic mode of nutrition is one characteristic feature. another is presence of dolipore septa in the mycelium. sexual reproduction is by somatogamy.

Funaria: characteristic features of funaria is sporophyte is partially dependant on gametophyte. dominant phase of life cycle is gametophytic generation.

Fern: they're homosporous. require cool, damp shady places. known as the reptiles of plant kingdom.

Pinus : roots of pinus have fungal association in mycorrhiza. sporophylls are arranged into compact cones.
