Nuclear families consist of parents and a child or children all living together. Ideally within a nuclear family there are shared values, responsibilities, unconditional love, healthy attachment patterns, and an environment that supports growth and learning.
Nuclear family
A nuclear family, alternatively known as conjugal family or elementary family refers to a family having parents and their children. Here, the members are more independent and self-sufficient. There's a greater privacy, less confusion and also quiet and peaceful. Also, members have a greater liberty to live according to their own will. On the other hand, there are disadvantages such as the feeling of loneliness, weaker bonding among members and lack of support.
