Their seeds are always enclosed inside the fruit .

If we talk about pollination it generally occurs through wind , water , or insects i.e. anemophily , hydrophily , zoophily .

Flower consists of calyx , corolla usually termed as non- essential whorls and androecium and gynoecium are termed as essential ones .

Male gametes are nonmotile in angiosperms and they’re carried to female gamete by pollen tube .

Double fertilization is characteristic feature of angiosperms .

One male gamete fuses with egg to form zygote and the other fuses with secondary nucleus for the formation of endosperm .
