the ants were very hardworking. they worked day and night to get through the winter whereas the cricket was always wanting to have fun day and night. when the winter came the cricket had done nothing so one day he went to the ants for some grains. the ants refused to do so because they had done hard work for their food. therefore he had to starve through winter.
