Characteristics of Competitive Inhibition are as follows :-

(i) Such Inhibitor bind to active site of enzyme and then they block binding of the substrate then this is known as competitive inhibition.

(ii) In this all the Inhibitors are having similar shape for the substrate molecules.

(iii) Usually Competitive Inhibition are temporary type.

(iv) In this the Level of inhibition is dependent on th relative concentrations of substrate molecule.
