A nucleus IS a membrane-bound organelle; prokaryotes do not have membrane-bound organelles (meaning they do not have a membrane-bound nucleus). Also, the nucleus, itself, is found in eurkaryotes but not found in prokaryotes. ... Viruses are not considered cells, so they are neither prokaryotic or eukaryotic.
