william Samuel Harris was a very important part of the boat and stream in Three Men in a Boat he goes on a voting trip with his friend George and the narrator .he was a sticker person he likes to drink he lecturing in a pub he wants other people to do his work he was a very bad Cook he created a lot of mess when he and george put up tent together .he was a short tempered person he becomes quiet peaceful polite after taking supper he loves history

Harris is very important character. he is quite pretentious in so far as his cooking is concerned. he makes tall claims about preparing scrambled which his friend must not have eaten in their lifetime dote the way he makes a mass of every time while preparing this is quite amusing
