- It normally starts in the month of april and lasts till mid - september.
- Its warm in the month of april , hot in the month of may and june and its extreme conditions are in july and august.
- In places like Rajasthan it is common for loos which are hot and gusty winds.
- The season's effect changes from place to place in thiruvananthapuram it would be around 32 degree celsius while in jaipur it would be around 45 degree celsius.
- At the end of summer there is a pre- mansoon showers in the states of karnataka and kerela which leads to ripening of mangoes . So it is also called as mango showers.
