Today, industrial relations are more focused on social characters, demographics and workforce. They work by dividing the work force into two distinct categories – employees and managers. This helps in increasing the available opportunities for immigrants, minorities and women work force.

• Accessing areas of interest for workers – by preparing short questionnaires to ascertain their best expectations and interests.

• Voicing expectations of the workers – by offering better trained educational skills.

• Group decision taking – in which the workers can participate and provide with their decisions that can affect their performance.
