Answer:

Akbar was a great patron of literature. He had Nine Jewels in his court, all of whom were exceptional literary figures.

Abul Fazal was a great scholar under Akbar who wrote 'Ain-i-Akbari' and Akbarnama. Badauni wrote 'Muntakhab-ul-Tawarikh' and Nizam-ud-Din wrote ‘Tabaqat-i-Akbari’.

A number of literature pieces were written in other languages as well, including  'Sursagar' by Surdas in Brij Bhasha, 'Ramcharitmanas' by Tulsi Das in Awadhi, and 'Padmavat' by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. So, the period of Akbar was a period of great literary works.
