1 ) Storage in grain sacks is ineffective.
2) Mold and pests destroy a 25 kg cloth sack of grains in a year.
3 ) It allows food to be eaten for some time. ( for some months ).

The storage structure should be well covered to prevent attack by pests or rodents.It should be moist free as moisture attracts fungus that spoils the grains.It should be kept at cool place to avoid spoilage of grains.
