Charactersketch of Giant using these hints...
 Protagonist  Selfish – doesn’t like sharing – mean and unkind - but character not static.  doesn’t like children playing in his garden – scares and drives them away – build wall – notice.  Also – suffers the consequences of loneliness – when realises his mistake - repents  Interaction with little boy bring change in his outlook – loves sharing- allows children in his garden.​

"The Selfish Giant" the  protagonist is the eponymously named character of the giant.

He did not let the children play in his garden. He drove them out, built a high wall around his garden, and put up a board that read 'Trespassers will be prosecuted.

He is "selfish" in that he does not like to share his garden, even when he is not around.
