When she grew up she was to be married to an old man who was greedy and was lame at his one leg and she silently agreed and said nothing because according to her family no one was willing to marry her. On the occasion of the marriage, he demanded dowry. Bholi stood against him and spoke perfectly like lightening. And decided not to marry and teach in the same school where she had herself learned.
Bholi was brave, wise, innocent and a person who loved her family more than anything. She had a great courage to stand against injustice....
