Juliette was the landlady of the villa. She was a perfect saleswoman as she knew what was better to say to Gaston and his wife Jeanne to sold the villa. She was very mean, calculating and money-minded as she paid her innocent and considerable maid very less wages and she had bought the villa for 50,000 francs and wanted to sold it for 2,00,000 francs. He also said to Gaston that she will donate the money to poor children.
