charge +q is placed at the centre of a dotted circle . work done in taking another charge +q from A to B is W1 and from B to C is W2 . which one of the following is correct: W1 is greater than W2 , W1 = W2 and W1 is less than W2

first of all your question is incomplete, you have shown us where the points A, B and C lie.
Now, I'm assuming that if the points A, B and C lie on the dotted circle, thenĀ 
as VA-VB=VB-VC
(since VA=VB=VC as the dotted circle will form a equipotential surface)
therefore, magnitude of work done is same,i.e, W1=W2.
