Step-by-step explanation:

Gud Evening dear Students.

It has been observed that your performance in pre board examinations is not satisfactory. It is already intimated to you regarding the promotion to the next grade that will be based on the result of the Final Examinations.kindly take it on a serious note as final term exams will be held in school for all of you. Be serious and put more efforts in order to get good percentage in the forthcoming exams.

12 feet =144 inches

1/3 foot = 1/3 x 12 = 4 inches

144/4 = 36 pieces 4 inches long

alternate calculation

12 feet / 1/3 foot = 36 pieces

There are 3 pieces 1/3 foot in each one foot section of the 12 foot rope. We know there will be more than 12 pieces because (3 x 12) > 12
