The poem the frog and the nightingale by vikram seth portrays today's truth where the crafty , cunning people always have an upper hand over the gullible and innocent ones.
The nightingale in the poem was a shy , timid , gullible and innocent bird. She has so soothing , sweet and melodious voice that she managed to grab the entire audience of bingle bog . She was highly admired and applauded for her sweet voice. But inspire of such talent she proved to be a failure . This was because of her blind belief in the frog . She easily trusted him and got influenced by him .
Her shy and timid nature ployed her to death .
