3*(-3)^2+5*-3+2=0
3*9-15+2=0
29-15=14 not 0 so -3 is not its solution
3*9-15+2=0
29-15=14 not 0 so -3 is not its solution

Heya!
--------
=======================================================
p ( x ) -> 3x² + 5x + 2 = 0
=> In order to be a solution to the Equation , -3 must yield 0 on putting in with the Equation !
↩♦↩Putting x = -3 in the equation ->
=> 3 × (-3)² + 5 × -3 + 2
=> 3 × 9 - 15 + 2
=> 27 - 15 + 2
=> 27 - 13
=> 14
↪As 14 is not equal to zero , -3 is NOT a Solution to p ( x )
