Let's us divide (3x^3 + 7 ) by (7x+3)..

If the remainder be obtained be 0

then 7x+3 is factor of (3x^3 + 7 )

By long division method

we obtained that , the remainder is not 0 therefore 7x +3 is not a factor of (3x^3 + 7)

We can also apply remainder theorm instead of long division method..
