if x+5/2 is a factor then putting the value of x in the given polynomial
(-5/2)^3+(-5/2)^2+3 (-5/2)+115
-125/8+25/4-15/2+115
-125+50-60/2+115
-135+115=20
which is not equal to zero
therefore x+5/2 is not a factor of the polynomial

hay!!

Dear friend -

if x+5/2 is a factor of x

then put it value in given equation

=> (-5/2)³+(-5/2)²+3(-5/2)+155

=> -125/8 + 25/4 - 15/2+155

=> -125+50-60/2+155

=>-135+155=20

=> 20 =20

then it's not equal to 0 so, it's not factors of given polynomial

I hope it's help you
