2 Discuss the case when a convex lens forms a virtual and enlarged image.
3 which lens would you prefer to use while reading small letters from a dictionary?
4 What type of lens is an air bubble inside the water?
5 A convex lens is immersed in a liquid of refractive index greater than that of glass. How will the nature of lens change?
6 A convex lens of focal length 20 cm can produce a magnified virtual as well as real image. Is this a correct statement? If yes, where shall the
object be placed in each case for obtaining these images?

Answer:

1. concave lens are used which always form virtual image of an object as it is used for short sightedness in which person can see close object very clearly but unable to see far objects it's also called nearsightedness.

3. convex lens will be used in the case of reading small words in a dictionary.as through it we can see nearby object very clearly and magnified.

5.the nature of lens change to concave lens as it will start diverging the rays rather than focusing them on point.
