Commutative property:

Two real numbers a and b are said to commute with each other under any operation '*' whenever

a * b = b * a

Commutative property on addition:

: Addition of two real numbers x and y is said to be commutative when their sum commutes,

i.e., a + b = b + a

Solution:

The two numbers are 102/201 and 3/4

LCM of 201 and 4 = 201 × 4 = 804

Now, 102/201 + 3/4

= {(4 × 102) + (3 × 201)} / 804

= (408 + 603) / 804

= 1011 / 804

and 3/4 + 102/201

= {(3 ×201) + (4 × 102)} / 804

= (603 + 408) / 804

= 1011/804

We see that

102/201 + 3/4 = 3/4 + 102/201 = 1011/804

Therefore, 102/201 and 3/4 commutes with each other under addition.
