Answer:

 \frac{2}{7}  +  \frac{4}{7}  =  \frac{4}{7}  +  \frac{2}{7}

 \frac{6}{7}  =  \frac{6}{7}

hence commutative property is applicable for addition

 \frac{2}{7}  -  \frac{4}{7}  =  \frac{4}{7}  -  \frac{2}{7}

 \frac{ - 2}{7}  =  \frac{2}{7}

hence -2/7≠ 2/7

hence commutative property is not applicable for subtraction

 \frac{2}{7}  \times  \frac{4}{7}  =  \frac{4}{7}   \times \frac{2}{7}

 \frac{8}{49}  =  \frac{8}{49}

hence commutative property is applicable for multiplication

 \frac{2}{7}  \div  \frac{4}{7}  =  \frac{4}{7}  \div  \frac{2}{7}

 \frac{2}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{4}  =  \frac{4}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{2}

 \frac{1}{2}   = 2

hence ½≠2

hence commutative property is not applicable for division
