According to one of application of dimensional analysis . if the dimensioin of R.H.S and L.H.S are equal . then the equation will be dimensionally correct . so lets see now for F=mv²/r
L.H.S=dimensional formula of force (F)M L T-²
R.H.S=dimensional formula of mv²/r=M(LT-1)²/L
M L²T-²/L
M L T-²
since, the dimension of L.H.S and R.H.S are equal .

It can be checked by using principle of homogeneity Which is that the dimensional formula of L. H.S.is equal to R. h. S :
[M1] [L1T-1]
On solving it give the dimensional formula of momentum : [M1L1T-1]
Hence the above equation is correct
