Check the correctness of the following equations
1. v2=u2+2as

rahulkhatri137: yes its correct
rahulkhatri137: V2=u2+2as
rahulkhatri137: dimensions of velocity is L*1T*-1
rahulkhatri137: Also as=v
rahulkhatri137: in add only same dimensional things can be added
rahulkhatri137: so u*2 +as(v*2)=v*2
rahulkhatri137: v has dimension L*1T-1
rahulkhatri137: Dimension of both sides are equal

v ^ 2 = u ^ 2 +2 as kdkdkffkfkkfdododod

thero3535: what is this
thero3535: this is wrong
rahulkhatri137: this is right
rahulkhatri137: both sides have safe dimension
rahulkhatri137: same dimensions

we have to prove 3 equation of motion
from 2 equation we will get s=ut+1/2at2
from 1 equation v=u+at
s=u(v-u)/a+1/2a(v-u/a)2
s=uv-u2/a+1/2a(v2+u2-2vu/a2)
uv-u2/a+v2+u2-2uv/2a (l.c.m of 2a and a is 2a)
s=2uv-2u2+v2+u2-2uv/2a
2as=v2-u2
HENCE PROOFED

rahulkhatri137: correctness of any formula is given by dimensions
rahulkhatri137: prove dimensional formula of both sides equal and it is proved
