Answer:
Given equation is
v=u+at
Where v = final velocity
u = initial velocity
a = acceleration
t = time
According to dimensional formula
Dimension of mass = [M]
Dimension of length = [L]
Dimension of time = [T]
Now from equation
L.H.S= v
whose dimensional formula will be [LT{-1}]
R.H.S = u+at
whose dimensional formula can be given by
Since, 2 is a constant hence it will be dimensional less.
So, as we can see dimension of L.H.S and R.H.S of the equation is equal hence the equation will be dimensionally correct.
