Condition 1 :

Given that x = -1

Substitute the value of x in the equation.

  (4x + 5) - (x - 2) = 15
(-4 + 5 ) - ( -1- 2 ) = 15
                 1  +  3  = 15.
                          4 =  15.

Therefore, x = -1 is not a solution to the given equation.

Condition 2 :

Given that x = 2

Substitute the value of x in the given equation.

 (4x + 5) - ( x-2) = 15.
   (8 + 5) - (2 -2) = 15.
                13 - 0 = 15.

Therefore x = 2 is not a solution to the given equation.

Condition 3 :

Given that x = -3

Substitute the value of x in the given equation.

(4x + 5) - (x-2) = 15.
(-12 +5) - (-3 - 2) =15.
-7 - 5 = 15
  -12 = 15.

Therefore,x = -3 is not a solution to the given equation.

Hi there !

(4x+5)-(x-2)=15

1) When x = -1
(4x + 5) - (x - 2) = 15
(4 x -1 + 5 ) - ( -1- 2 ) = 15
1 + 3 = 15.
4 = 15
lhs is not equal to rhs

Hence , x = -1 is not a solution .
-------------------------------------------------------

2) When x = 2
(4x + 5) - ( x-2) = 15.
(4 x 2 + 5) - (2 -2) = 15.
13 = 15
Hence ,
x = 2 is not a solution .
-----------------------------------------
3)When x = -3
(4x + 5) - (x-2) = 15.
(-12 +5) - (-3 - 2) =15.
-7 - 5 = 15
-12 = 15.
Hence
,x = -3 is not a solution .

Hope this Helps You !!
