Equation: v = u + at^2

For the given formula to be dimensionally correct, Dimension(LHS) = Dimension(RHS).

So,

Dimension(LHS) = Dimension of (v)

= dimension of velocity

= [LT^-1] ..................................(a)

and,

Dimension(RHS) = Dim(u) + dim(at^2)

= dim(velocity) + dim(acceleration)×dim(time)^2

= [LT^-1] + [LT^-2]×[T^2]

= [LT^-1] + [L] ..........................(b)

.

Now, from (a) and (b) it is clear that

Dimension(LHS) ≠ Dimension (RHS)

Hence, the formula is dimensionally incorrect.
