by using formula :
(a-b) ² = a² + b² - 2ab
= (x-2) ²+1 = 2x-3
= x² + 2² - 2(x)(2)+1 = 2x- 3
= x² + 4 - 4x + 1 = 2x - 3
= x² - 4x + 5 = 2x - 3
= x² + 4x + 5 - 2x + 3 = 0
= x² + 2x + 8 = 0
Quadratic formula :
ax²+bx+c = 0
a = 1 , b = 2 , c = 8
hence proved
since it is quadratic equation
