Step-by-step explanation:

To Find If X+1 is a factor of given polynomial.

So, X+1=0

=> X= -1

Substituting Value of X in x-x^2-(2+√2)x+√2

So,

=>(-1) -(-1)^2-(2+√2)-1+√2=0

=> -1-1-(-2-√2)+√2=0

=> -2+2+√2+√2=0

=> √2+√2=0

=>√4=0

=> 2=0

As we can see If X+1 would have been a factor of given polynomial then L. H. S =R.H.S

But, Here

2=0

L. H. S not equal to R. H. S

Therefore X+1 is not a factor of Given Polynomial..

Hence Proved..

Hope It helps You.... :)
