2x+2=2x-6
2x=2x-6-2
2x-2x=-8
0=_8
this is not quadratic

=> x² + 2x + 1 = 2x - 6

=> x² + 1 + 6 = 0

=> x² + 7 = 0

=> x² + 0.x + 7 = 0

its look like ax² + bx + c = 0

so its a quadratic equation
