3x³+7x

→7+3x is a factor of the given polynomial.

7+3x = 0

3x = -7

x = -7/3

★3(-7/3)³+7(-7/3)

→ 3(-243/27)-49/3

→ -243/9 - 49/3

→ -81/3-49/3

→ (-81-49)/3

→ -130/3

As the remainder is not equal to zero, 7+3x is not a factor of the given polynomial 3x³+7x.

Hope it helps…

7+3x=0
x=-7/3
putting x on p(x)
(-3*(-7/3)^3)+(7*-7/3) is not equal to 0
so 7+3x is not a factor.
