Step-by-step explanation:

There are two ways in which you can prove

First one is -

Put the given values in place of X and check it is 0 or not

4

{4( \frac{1}{2} })^{2}   - 8( \frac{1}{2} ) + 3

4( \frac{1}{4} ) - 8 \frac{1}{2}  + 3

1 - 4 + 3=0 Verified

Now

4( \frac{3}{2}  - 8( \frac{3}{2} ) + 3

4( \frac{9}{4} ) - 8( \frac{3}{2} ) + 3

9-12+3=0 Verified

Or use formula

sum  \: of \: zeroes \:  =  \frac{ - b}{a}

product \: of \: zeroes \:  =  \frac{c}{b}

 \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{3}{2}  =  \frac{ - ( - 8)}{4}

  • 2= 2 verified

 \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{3}{2}  =  \frac{3}{4}

=3/4=3/4 verified

Hope HELPFUL
