2(1^4)-6 (1^3)+3(1^2)+3 (1)-2

2 (2^4)-6 (2^3)+3 (2^2)+3 (2)-2

2 (16)-6 (8)+3 (4)+3(2)-2

32-48+12+6-2

so 2 is root of given polynomial.
