Answer:

polynomial = x²-4x+3

value number(1) = 1

substituting the value in all x in the polynomial =

=> x²-4x+3 = 0

=> 1-4+3 = 0

=> 0 = 0

therefore, 1 is a zero of the polynomial.

2nd value = 3

substituting it =

=> x²-4x+3 = 0

=> 9 - 12 + 3 = 0

=> 0 = 0

hence 3 is also a zero of the polynomial.

hope it helped :)
