[tex] X^{4} =16 [/tex] ------------------1 ⇒[tex] X^{4}= ( +,- 2) ^{4} [/tex] ⇒X=-2 or X=+2 ⇒put the value of X in eq 1 ⇒when X=-2 then 16=16 ⇒when X=+2 then 16=16

=16-16
=0[/tex]
(2)[tex] -2^{4} +16 =16-16 =0[/tex]
