Answer:

i)x= -3,y= -2

putting these values in the equation  2x – 5y = 7 , we get

2x-3 -5 x -2=7

-6+10=7

4=7

hence (-3,-2) is not a solution

ii)x=6,y=1

putting these values in the equation 2x – 5y = 7, we get

2x6 -5x1=7

12-5=7

7=7

so (6,1) is a solution of the equation
