check whether f:[1,2,3,4]-R:f(x)=x^2 and f:N-N:f(x)=3x+1 are one-one onto function or not​

Answer:

the first FUNCTION is One one becoz there are only 4 terms in domain and all are positive so there is only one outcome for each input

and since CD is not equal to Domain the function is not Onto

The Second function is Onto but I'm sorry I don't know whether it's one one or not

but I guess it's not One one
